Description of Classes offered at Get ReFormed Pilates Studio

The Pilates Mat:
The foundation for all of the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning. It's you against gravity! Matwork develops core strength, spinal mobility and flexibility, and tones and lengthens muscles. Exercises are designed to flow within the exercises and between exercises with continuous breath and control. May utilize props such as the traditional Magic Ring, Therabands, Stability Ball, Dumbbells, and Tai Chi Balls.
Pilates 4 Health:
This Mat class is ideal for clients who have special issues: lower back, neck, hip, knee problems and need the basic Beginner and Pre-Pilates therapeutic exercises. The class focus on improving poster, proper biomechanics of movement and rebuilding core strength (Also for postpartum).
Yoga Flow:
This fitness-based Vinyasa Yoga class guides clients through the basic Yoga posters with modifications for those with limited flexibility. Yoga opens up the hips, hamstrings, and upper/lower back and relaxes the mind allowing a deeper focus with a controlled but flowing breath. Includes sun salutations, standing postures (Asanas), balances and relaxing stretching poses on the floor to close class.
Ziesta: Cardio Fiesta:
45 minutes of fun, "user-friendly" Zumba-type Cardio Dance: Salsa, Merengue, Tango, Cha-Cha, as well as American Dancfes of the Decades (Swing, 50s, 60s, etc) and Broadway tunes. Please bring cross trainer or jazz sneakers.
